Nicole Kosloski, our office manager, was born in Syracuse, New York, but shortly after birth moved to Virginia Beach where she was raised along with the rest of her family. She is the oldest of four siblings, although she is at least 18 years older than each of them. Her youngest brother, Dalton, is 17, and is still considered the baby.
Today, she is the hero of her own family after the father of her children suddenly passed away in 2013. Nicole’s children Kiyara, A.J. and Juliana, are ages 16, 12 and eight respectively.
Despite a childhood desire to become an interior designer, Nicole went to Tidewater Community College in 1999 through 2001 and completed her Associates Degree in Informational Technology in 2009 from Kaplan University. Nicole came to Norfolk plumbing last year after doing similar work for other service companies since 2005. She comes to the job with 22 years of experience in the industry.
Peeling back a few layers, we learn that Nicole is a bit of an adventurer. Among her list of adventures are parasailing and riding on motorcycles, but someday hopes to go sky diving, bungee jumping and scuba diving. She looks forward to anything that is risky or daring. Outside of the more thrilling events in life, Nicole also enjoys shopping and buying shoes (who doesn’t?) and taking her family to fun places like the beach, amusement parks or the movies.
When we asked her about her favorites, we learned that Nicole must have had many influential people in her life as her interests are diverse. She enjoys football, basketball and boxing with the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Lakers enjoying their emblems on her car. Like her diverse interest in sports, she loves all music and all genres, but doesn’t truly have a favorite.
When you call Norfolk Plumbing, you’re likely to talk to Nicole. She’s been a pleasure to work with and we enjoy having her around. What have you enjoyed about Nicole as you’ve gotten to know her?
