Ever wonder what is actually blocking your sewer lines? Norfolk Plumbings new piece of equipment will take the unknown “fishing” for a clog or blockage in the sewer lines a step further. What is it exactly? It is a tiny, fiber-optic video camera that we can snake through the line and conduct a visual inspection, evaluate the condition of the pipe and also locate the blockage. We also have the ability to record the inspection so you can review the problem and determine the best approach to your sewer line repair. There are three main benefits of this service:
- Visually see the cause of the stoppage. This will save money on repairs and also see problems that were not visible beforehand.
- To determine if pipes are deteriorating. In the past, one would have to rip up a yard to see if the pipes were deteroting. Now with a video sewer inspection, you can visually see the inside of pipes to determine the quality of the piping.
- More efficient. It will take less time to determine and fix the problem area. This reflects a savings cost and takes the guess work out of the process.
